The Greenhouse Project exists to enable children, young people and their communities to access support.
Our courses are fully streamed. We offer general courses and exam courses. You will study reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar with experienced and qualified ESOL tutors. We also organise social events and our groups are very friendly.
Accredited classes focus on speaking and listening, writing and reading. Most lessons are 8 hours per week, Monday to Thursday. Some lessons are also available in the evening.
We offer accredited ESOL provision across Lancashire from pre-entry level through to Level 2.
The ESOL Skills for Life qualifications are designed to prepare learners for the world of work or citizenship. The primary aim is to assist you in becoming independent of others (such as interpreters or translators; be they professionals, family, or friends) when talking with native English-speakers, both in a work environment and elsewhere. By improving your English, you will also improve your chances of gaining employment and accessing information from service provides such as libraries, children’s centres, and local attractions.
Run community events such as coffee mornings, English conversation classes, cooking evenings often led by a refugee or asylum seeker to teach about food from their nation, pilates etc. Also offer food and clothing help.
A classroom-based course which will help you develop the use of English speaking, writing ability and build your confidence on a pathway to new opportunities. Our specialist tutors offer tailored support to achieve 7 accredited Awards for 2022!
