On Your Side is a new nationwide service that was launched on the 9th of August 2022, offering dedicated support for East and Southeast Asian victims of racism and/or other forms of hate.

The service includes a 24/7 freephone helpline available in East and Southeast Asian languages; a website with reporting forms and resources; and ongoing community-based support delivered by trained casework advocates.

These online information sessions are designed for staff, volunteers and/or organisers at community groups, businesses, university groups, trade unions and faith groups. The sessions, delivered by End Violence and Racism Against ESEA Communities alongside Protection Approaches, two of 15 consortium partners behind this service, will help you to understand more about the service and the support on offer to East and Southeast Asian community members. It will be an opportunity to find out how you can make sure East and Southeast Asian community members in your networks are aware of how to access support and will be an opportunity to ask any questions you have.

The information session will be run on three different dates and you can choose which you would prefer to attend:

Thursday 3rd November 1pm – 2pm

Wednesday 9th November 5.30pm – 6.30pm

Tuesday 22nd November 10am – 11am

If you would like to ask any questions about these session please contact info@onyoursideuk.org

(Once registered you will be sent details of how to join the session 48 hours ahead of the start)
