In response to the war in Ukraine, the UK government announced new visa routes for Ukrainian nationals and their family members in March 2022. The visa routes, called the Ukraine Scheme, allow Ukrainians to travel to or extend their stay in the UK, to work, study and access public funds.

The Ukraine Extension Scheme is open to some Ukrainians and their family who previously had, permission to be in the UK.
The Ukraine Family Scheme closed at 3pm on 19 February 2024. You can no longer apply under this scheme.
