Information for Councils and partners

We provide support and guidance to Councils and practitioners working with children and young people subject to immigration control, particularly unaccompanied children. We work to support Councils and partners to offer vulnerable children the best support.

We coordinate the implementation of the National Transfer Scheme (NTS) and other Home Office children’s resettlement programmes across the region, ensuring the safe transfer and reception of young people into the care of Councils.
