- If you are living in the UK under a Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme (Homes for Ukraine), Ukraine Family Scheme, or Ukraine Extension Scheme visa, you may be eligible to apply for an additional 18 month visa.
- The Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) scheme is free to apply for and you must be in the UK when making the application.
- You can apply for a Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) visa 28 days before your current visa expires. If you apply too early, your application may be rejected.
- It may take up to 8 weeks for a decision on the Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) visa, and you should not travel outside of the UK while you wait for a decision.

Please ensure that you have created your eVisa online immigration status on gov.uk before you apply for a Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) visa, as these are two different processes.
