Community services and support
Many organisations provide spaces for the community to come together, share experiences and find support.

Cheshire
- Warrington Ukrainian Family Hub – A place to support and care, create community & happy memories.
- Refugee Welcome– supporting Ukraine guests and their hosts through the organisation of community café hubs.
- Ukraine support, Changing Lives Together – A safe space for Ukrainian Families and/or their sponsors to come together to chat, cook, shop and be supported.
- Cheshire, Halton and Warrington Race and Equality Centre (CHAWREC) – run English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses as well as hosting cultural events.
Cumbria
- Resettlement in Cumberland – supporting refugees by completing an Early Help assessment, this allows us to meet the families’ emerging needs.
- Multicultural Cumbria – focus on sustaining and sharing the heritages, cultures, values, and beliefs, and promote inclusion throughout the wider community.
- Carlisle Refugee Action Group (CRAG) – supporting refugees & asylum seekers living in the UK.
- Facebook pages: West Cumbria Refugee Support Network (WCRSN) and Cumbria Supports Ukraine.
- Penrith and Eden Refugee Network (PERN) – supporting newcomers to thrive in the community, by meeting local people, sharing experiences, improving English language skills, promoting fun and friendship.
Lancashire
- Community Support Hubs for Homes for Ukraine – Lancashire – providing support and assistance to sponsors and guests.

- Ukraine Welcome Centres in Sefton – providing support Ukrainian guests and their sponsors.
- AUGB Liverpool Branch
- Wirral Change – host a number of community groups and provide rooms for social and cultural events.
Greater Manchester
- Ukrainian Cultural Centre AUGB Manchester
- AUGB Stockport – a thriving, dynamic community, striving to maintain and encourage our Ukrainian values and traditions whilst creating new ones.
- AUGB Ashton – Home of the Ukrainian Community in Tameside for seventy-two years, we are a small centre maintaining Ukrainian traditions and culture.
- AUGB Rochdale – to promote, develop and support the interest of the Ukrainian community in Rochdale.
- AUGB Bury – Our community continues to grow with the arrival of displaced Ukrainians, their families, and sponsors.
- AUGB Bolton – Our purpose is to develop, promote and support the interests and welfare of the Ukrainian community in Bolton.
- Trafford Community Hubs – The Community Hubs are supporting arrivals fleeing the war in Ukraine.
