Matching providers
A Homes for Ukraine visa holder must have a sponsor. This is someone who initially agreed to provide accommodation for their guest when they first arrived in the UK.
Ukrainians may not have known their sponsor previously and, while many matches have been made over social media, it is always safer to find a match using a matching provider.
The government has a list of organisations to help Ukrainians find a sponsor in the UK and they are known as Homes for Ukraine Recognised Providers. Some of these organisations can also help with rematching when local expression of interest (EOI) lists are unable to identify a new host.
There are many other organisations that are also matching Ukrainians to sponsors, providing guidance and support. Further information is available on this page.
Homes for Ukraine - Recognised Providers
These organisations help match people from Ukraine to find a sponsor in the UK. In some cases, they can also help find a new host for Ukrainians that can no longer stay with their original sponsor (called “rematching”).
Please visit the Find a sponsor using recognised providers: Homes for Ukraine website to see which organisations are Recognised Providers. You will be able to see the details of the organisation’s websites and find out how they can support matching, along with lots of information, guidance and training.
