Resettlement Schemes
There are several resettlement schemes operating in the UK, information on each can be found on our dedicated pages:
Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS)
Funding
Under the integration tariffs for each scheme, there is a provision for education, the funding instructions can be found in Resettlement Schemes Funding Instructions.
Currently the funding available is £4500 per child aged 5-18, £2250 per child aged 3-4 and £850 per adult for provision of ESOL.
Adult Education Budget (AEB) funding is available for adults arriving into the UK under a Resettlement Scheme.
Children and Young Persons Fund
The Children and Young People’s Resettlement Fund is a £2.5 million fund facilitating projects in England until March 2025 that support young people, aged 21 and under, on the Ukraine, Afghan and Hong Kong BN(O) pathways.
