North Manchester Community Partnership provides a range of activities and events for residents of North Manchester.

Cheshire, Halton & Warrington Race & Equality Centre (CHAWREC)

Cheshire, Halton and Warrington Race & Equality Centre (CHAWREC) runs a variety of services for BAME communities including asylum seekers, refugees and migrant communities. We provide ESOL classes from pre entry through to Level 2. In the Unity Centre in Chester on Mondays, there are advanced and beginner classes at 13pm – 14:30pm and on Fridays at 10am – 11:30am.

At the Old School House in Northwich (CW9 7NS) there are intermediate classes on Fridays at 9:30am – 11:30am.
In the WorkZone in Ellesmere Port (CH65 0BA), there are pre-entry classes on Fridays at 13pm – 16pm.
There are also pre-entry classes at The Maybury Centre in Crewe (CW13HE) on Tuesdays at 13pm – 14:30pm.
Accredited courses are also offered here, please come to a drop in and you can be enrolled.

We also support access to health through our ‘Bridging the Gap’ Project and support for Ukrainians through the provision of a Ukrainian support worker. We also host a weekly asylum hub at the Unity Centre, which is a focal point for all BAME communities. We provide immigration casework and are registered with OISC to Level 2. We run projects that support our aims, at the moment we have a project that supports Hong Konger’s to settle in the Cheshire area. We advocate for the needs of all our service users being involved in relevant forums and partnerships across the area.

Revive is an independent community project providing free support, advice and advocacy for refugees and people seeking asylum across Manchester and Salford. Our holistic, long term services support people of all faiths, ethnicities and nationalities on their journey of integration in their new communities.

Revive provides a range of support including general advice that covers housing, finance, health and legal support. They also provide women’s service and domestic abuse support

Vauxhall Law Centre

We are solicitors providing legal advice tailored to asylum seekers and migrants around housing, homelessness and Asylum Support. We also have a specialist welfare benefit department that can assist with benefit issues.

Cheetham Hill Advice Centre

Cheetham Hill Advice Centre offers advice and support across a range of topics. They can support with legal, housing, finance, employment and support accessing health services

Manchester Refugee Support Network

Manchester Refugee Support Network (MRSN) provides support to refugee & asylum seekers across Manchester. They can offer support with general advice, legal support and accessing health services. Their general advice drop-in service runs on Mondays at 9am. You can also book a specific appointment on the website.
