We provide ESOL classes to 16-18 and 19+ learners. In addition, we also offer enrichment and employability opportunities to help integrate learners into the community and provide motivation to progress in the future.
Covering the four main skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, learners will gain nationally recognised qualifications in English language, with optional units on computing and maths skills. In addition, they will learn about UK culture and take part in events to celebrate their own. They’ll also take part in activities to develop job interview skills, and develop the confidence to live, study and work in the UK successfully.

Enrichment is integral to the department and we offer the learners employability skills which are referred to in lessons, extra sessions, on display boards and through events.
