Switch from BRP to eVisa – Translated Guidance Now Available

From the 6 August 2024, anyone with a BRP card (biometric residence permit) that expires on 31 December 2024 can create a UKVI account and access their eVisa, without needing an invitation from the government to do so to do so. Lancashire County Council have translated the governments eVisa guidance and shared the translations online. These translations include Arabic, Dari, Pashto and Ukrainian.

eVisa Materials have been saved together in a partner pack with posters and graphics for social media available to download.   

A recent update from GOV.UK has been added to the guidance above telling people to ‘keep your expired BRP card as it may help with future applications to stay in the UK. You may also want it for your personal records’
