New grant funding for VCFSE organisations supporting BN(O)s in the North West

The North West Hong Kong BN(O) Welcome Hub, part of the North West RSMP, is happy to announce a new grant fund for Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise organisations who are supporting Hong Kong BN(O) visa holders in the North West.

The new Sub-Regional Community Network Grants will provide organisations with up to £50,000 of funding to both directly support BN(O)s in their areas as well as bring together a network of statutory and non-statutory organisations to support BN(O)s where they live in an effort to share learning, coordinate support, signpost individuals and households to the most appropriate support, and support the capacity and capabilities of the VCFSE sector in the region.

The Sub-Regional Community Network Grants will fund applications across the region broken down into 4 lot areas:

  • Lot 1 – Greater Manchester
  • Lot 2 – Liverpool City Region
  • Lot 3 – Cheshire
  • Lot 4 – Lancashire & Cumbria

There will be £50,000 available to an application in each lot area, bringing the total programme spend to £200,000. Delivery is expected to take place between August 2024 and June 2025.

In order to get funding out to organisations as quickly as possible, and in order to utilise funding in as flexible a way as we can the grant will be paid in two instalments, with a small initial payment in August to support mobilisation and a larger payment in October to fund the remaining delivery.

More information is available in the guidance document you can download below. You can also download the application form below too.

Applications will close at 23:59pm on Sunday 23rd June.

There will be three information sessions to support organisations with their application. Below are the dates and times as well as the link to register.
