Greater Together Manchester are excited to launch our Refugee Lodgings project which has been developed in response to the rise in new refugees ending up street homeless once they have to leave their Home Office accommodation.
Our goal is to help newly recognised refugees avoid homelessness and connect them with welcoming resident landlords which will offer them the stability to help them rebuild their lives and connect with their local community.
To help us achieve this goal, we are looking for resident landlords, people who are able and willing to offer a furnished spare room in Greater Manchester on a temporary basis for 3-6 months to someone who has recently been granted their refugee status. Our team will support both the resident landlord and the refugee lodger throughout the entire placement.
