The North West RSMP is pleased to announce that we have received ESOL specific funding from the Ministry of Housing Communities and local Government (MHCLG) to support and offer programmes which increase ESOL capacity across the region. This is inclusive of teacher training and continued professional development for those working in the ESOL field in the region.
Within this funding, we would like to offer up to 10 funded places on a new 200hr Trinity CertTESOL course delivered by Train-to-TEFL, offering aspiring ESOL tutors in the region the chance to gain a nationally recognised Level 5 teaching qualification.
This fully funded opportunity is open to volunteers, job seekers, and those currently employed in roles supporting ESOL learners across the North West. The course runs from 5 January to 13 April 2026, with weekly online sessions and flexible teaching practice options—including face-to-face sessions in Salford.
Participants will gain practical teaching experience, develop essential classroom skills, and join a supportive community of educators—all while helping local learners improve their English language skills.
