Every child deserves a safe, caring place to call home. For refugee children arriving in the UK – many of whom have fled war, persecution, or exploitation – this need is urgent. These vulnerable children arrive alone, without parents or family to care for them. They need emotional, cultural, and practical support to reclaim their childhoods and take steps toward brighter futures.
We are inviting everybody who cares about finding homes for refugee children including local authority staff, voluntary, faith and community groups, those who already care for vulnerable children and all our partners working with young people in the North West and beyond. In this online event you will learn more about the issues, challenges refugee children face and find out how you can contribute to helping people to open their home for refugee children who desperately need it.
