Asylum Health Information
People claiming asylum support have the right to free NHS treatment and should receive an HC2 through their asylum application process. If a person hasn’t received an HC2, or if their HC2 has expired, they can contact Migrant Help for advice. People can also contact the NHS Business Services Authority to apply for the low-income scheme. You can find plenty of guidance on help with NHS health costs on www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk.
