Asylum dispersal grants
This Asylum Dispersal Grant will support local authorities through payments of £3500 per new, occupied bedspace opened between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024. The payment is to address concerns raised by Councils in relation to pressure on local services associated with supporting asylum seekers.
The Asylum Dispersal Grant 23-24 document sets out the terms under which the Home Office will make funding available to Councils in England, Wales, and Scotland between 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 to assist with their costs of supporting Asylum Seekers under Full Asylum Dispersal.
