Search services and support for migrants

We run two types of ESOL courses here at KCLC. Our accredited courses are delivered by a partner organisation (WEA) and lead to nationally recognised qualifications at five levels (Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3, Level 1 and Level 2). In addition, we also deliver non-accredited courses that address all aspects of the English language (Speaking, Listening, Reading & Writing) – but there are no tests or exams on these courses. We can offer quick starts on these courses (often within 2 weeks).
The Florrie is a charity that has been at the heart of the L8 community for over 130 years. Our stunning Grade II listed Victorian community arts & heritage venue is a social, cultural, educational, and charitable hub for the people of South Liverpool. We offer a wide variety of activities for people of all ages, including Community Hub programs for adults and The Basement Youth Zone for young people. We also provide food support through The Florrie Community Shop and Community Cafe and host a wide range of cultural, musical, and artistic events and exhibitions throughout the year. Florrie Radio, based at The Florrie, showcases music from across Liverpool and Merseyside, providing a platform for local talent and voices. Additionally, we have versatile event spaces available for hire and offer fully inclusive workspaces for small local businesses and charities.
