British Red Cross- Refugee Support

British Red Cross Refugee Support, Liverpool City Region, helps people seeking asylum, refugees and other migrants on various issues including adjusting to life in a new country through casework support. The session offers the opportunity for people to meet new people and chat over hot drinks and snacks. People can be helped with the following:
  • Healthcare access and advice
  • English lessons information
  • Advice on community integration activities
  • Information and advice on the asylum process
  • Information on legal support
  • Move-on support
  • Family reunion
  • Family tracing

Merseyside Refugee Support Network

MRSN Liverpool provide move-on support to refugees and others with leave to remain. We will help people throughout their integration journey for as long as help is sought. It is a person-centred service. We also support diaspora refugee community groups where possible. We run an information sharing e-newsgroup and hold regular network meetings to share good practice and issues of concern. MRSN Liverpool also administers the Liverpool City of Sanctuary group.
