Diversity Matters North West is an award winning independent local charity working to combat health inequalities and social exclusion and to promote community cohesion. We are based at the Healthy Living Centre in Hyde, Tameside from where we host and co-ordinate regular activities and training for the local community, with the help of our volunteers.
We offer conversational ESOL to help people improve their English and gain confidence on Tuesdays 10am – 12pm starting on Sept 1st 2026. Class is at the Hyde Healthy Living Centre, 20 Great Norbury St., SK14 1BR.
HBWA deliver regular training, courses and workshops in the year to enhance the knowledge skills and experiences of local people, which helps their personal development. We work in partnership with other agencies in the area and the local authority to offer the best services to the community with lots of choices, options and awareness of what is available to them. The projects and services we run here are on a needs basis for the community after regular consultation and feedback for what the local people want. We are based in Tameside.
We offer general ESOL and women focused pre-entry ESOL classes to help improve communication, education, and employment skills.
