Blackpool FC Community Trust is a forward-thinking charity, based at Bloomfield Road Stadium. We work with residents as young as 2 years old up to adults in the later stages of life and provide a diverse range of programmes to increase social inclusion opportunities; improve physical fitness, health and education; and lessen involvement in anti-social behaviour.
British Red Cross Refugee Support, Lancashire, helps people seeking asylum, refugees and other migrants on various issues including adjusting to life in a new country through casework support. The session offers the opportunity for people to meet new people and chat over hot drinks and snacks. Exodus is CAN’s refugee arts programme. Exciting programmes of new writing, original theatre, music, film, workshops and live performance platform the voices, experiences and artistic work of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants living in Greater Manchester, and support well-being agendas for people taking part.

A weekly drop-in session during term time takes place on Wednesdays between 2 and 4 pm at St Thomas Church Centre, Marton St, Lancaster, for Asylum Seekers and Refugees. The sessions offer a cafe space for socialising with board games etc., an ESOL class, an information desk run by a local ASR support charity (RAIS), a barber corner, and the distribution of clothing.
