Providing spaces for the community to come together, share experiences and find support.

• Cumbria
  • Resettlement in Cumberland – supporting refugees by completing an Early Help assessment, this allows us to meet the families’ emerging needs.
  • Multicultural Cumbria – focus on sustaining and sharing the heritages, cultures, values, and beliefs, and promote inclusion throughout the wider community.
  • Carlisle Refugee Action Group (CRAG) – supporting refugees & asylum seekers living in the UK.

  • Penrith and Eden Refugee Network (PERN) – supporting newcomers to thrive in the community, by meeting local people, sharing experiences, improving English language skills, promoting fun and friendship.

  • AUGB Stockport – a thriving, dynamic community, striving to maintain and encourage our Ukrainian values and traditions whilst creating new ones.
  • AUGB Ashton – Home of the Ukrainian Community in Tameside for seventy-two years, we are a small centre maintaining Ukrainian traditions and culture.
  • AUGB Rochdale – to promote, develop and support the interest of the Ukrainian community in Rochdale.

  • Ukraine support, Changing Lives Together – A safe space for Ukrainian Families and/or their sponsors to come together to chat, cook, shop and be supported.
  • Cheshire, Halton and Warrington Race and Equality Centre (CHAWREC) – run English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses as well as hosting cultural events.
