Parents First supports parents of young children to explore their aspirations, get job ready, or find meaningful employment. You can contact Parents First by using the below details:

  • Cheshire West and Chester:  ParentsFirst@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk or speak to a member of Children’s Centre staff.
  • Cheshire East: ParentsFirst@cheshireeast.gov.uk speak to a member of Children’s Centre staff.

New Leaf offers support to people experiencing barriers that might be preventing them from gaining employment. New Leaf provides a wrap around service of support to help create opportunities for your future. This programme can support people for up to 6 months with the possibility to extend should it be needed.

The Eligibility Criteria:

  • Unemployed, not in education, training or economically inactive;
  • Aged 16 to 65*;
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK;
  • Live in Warrington or Cheshire;
  • Need extra support to get into or closer to employment.

Springboard is for people who are employability ready but may need that extra guidance and support to find the right employment for them.
