You must follow your local council’s application process when applying for schools in England. Please note that it is not guaranteed that you will be awarded a place at your first choice of school, so it is useful to research three different schools.
Lancashire
Key admission dates for both starting primary school and transferring into secondary school can be found on Lancashire County Council website.
Applications made outside of these dates are referred to as ‘In Year’ transfers and further information can be found online.
