Fostering Across Borders – final report and resources

The FAB project was conceptualised in 2016, and ran from January 2018 to September 2019 in six EU Member States: Austria, Belgium, Greece, Luxembourg, Poland and the United Kingdom. The goal of the project was to strengthen the capacity of the family-based care systems that support unaccompanied migrant children arriving into Europe.

In addition to the final programme report, additional documents have been produced providing outlines of the existing training available for foster carers and social care professionals in the participating member states, including the United Kingdom.

All of the published documents can be viewed at the FAB project resource page at https://eea.iom.int/fostering-across-borders-documents. Alternatively, the final programme report and the UK Mapping of Existing Training document can be downloaded directly from the Download section on this page.
