About this event

This is an engagement session for community groups and VSCE organisations, who may be interested in supporting Hong Kong BN(O) visa holders in the North West. During the session we will consult with organisations about the North West RSMP Hong Kong BN(O) Welcome Grant Scheme.

The Department for Levelling Up Housing and Communities (DLUHC) created 12 “Welcome Hubs” across the UK to support new arrivals, and the North West Regional Strategic Migration Partnership (RSMP) is one of these Hubs. The Welcome Hubs have been funded to ensure that newly arriving BN(O) status holders are able to access information to help their integration into the UK.

We know the VCSE sector plays an important role in delivering local services and they have extensive experience in supporting the integration of migrant groups. During the webinar we will present information about the Hong Kong BN(O) visa route and share what we know so far about the needs of those BN(O) visa holders, who are settling in the North West. We would also like to ensure that VCSE organisations have access to funding to support the local welcome of the Hong Kong BN(O) visa holders. Therefore, the North West RSMP Welcome Hub will also consult community groups on our Hong Kong BN(O)s Welcome Grant Scheme. Please reserve a place at the webinar if you would like to find out more about our plans and provide us with some feedback.

The webinar will take place over Microsoft Teams. The meeting link will be emailed to you on the morning of the event.
